What Is Operation Purple Camp?
Operation Purple Camp is built for kids who live the military lifestyle, giving them a space to learn, grow, and connect.
These camping experiences allow kids to come together for outdoor adventures, games, and new experiences. While at camp, they can make friends with other military kids and connect with counselors who understand the ups and downs of military life.
Many camps also include family-focused activities, so parents can join in the fun, reconnect with their kids, and enjoy the outdoors together.

What is the Experience Like at Operation Purple Camp?
At Operation Purple Camp, kids unplug from screens and dive into the outdoors. Climbing, swimming, kayaking, and ziplining are just some of the experiences they’ll do throughout the day.
They play team games, tackle ropes courses, and explore arts, crafts, and hands-on STEM projects, discovering new skills and passions along the way.
Military kids are also given the chance to connect with one another, sharing experiences, swapping stories, and may even find that they feel less isolated in the lifestyle. Traditions like flag ceremonies and the Wall of Honor give campers a sense of pride in their service and community.
Campers leave with memories, friendships, and confidence.
