In addition to National Parks, fee-free entry is also offered on Veterans Day to all national wildlife refuges and other US Fish and Wildlife Service lands that normally charge a fee.
3. Your Local Zoo
Lions, and tigers, and bears…oh, and deals! You can save money on Veterans Day travel, far and wide, by visiting many of the zoos and aquariums found across the country.
